Our Values
We strive to improve the health and quality of peoples’ lives. We recognise that all of us play a part in a wider community, not just limited to the walls of our practice. We value professional ism and improvements wherever we can find it, even outside the core activities of the business .
We pride ourselves on always looking for new ways to innovate, improve and lean our business, whilst retaining a high quality service. Continuing to improve allows us to always give customers the best available service to meet their needs, while continuing to reduce the waste we produce.
In every activity we undertake, we look to begin with the end in mind. We believe establishing a common vision with our team, our stakeholders and our patients will ensure we achieve the best outcome possible in the most efficient way. We do this following the steps below:
> Seek to first understand
> Then to be understood
> Take the time to involve you in every step during your time with us
> Understand all your concerns and needs
> Set out the best plan for us to reach your goal with us.
We are passionate that compassion is at the centre of every service we provide. Whether someone’s been living with a complaint for years or a few days, this still has a big impact on their lives and the people around them. We make sure we respond to every situation with humanity and kindness, and search for anything, no matter how small, to provide relief and comfort. We ensure that we give time to everyone that comes to MEDICOLE: patients, their families and carers, and the teams we work alongside. We are proactive in our efforts, because we care.
At MEDICOLE we are committed to ensuring safety is inherently designed into everything we do. It is the personal commitment of everyone at all levels of our group, and underpins every activity we undertake. We believe every injury and illness can be prevented as we drive the risk to as low as reasonably practicable. We never compromise on safety, as this takes away from our ultimate mission to help people live longer, healthier and happier lives.
We value every individual equally, irrespective of their background, we make sure no one is discriminated. Patients come to us in a state of vulnerability when they have a complaint, and it is our top priority to develop a trusting relationship. Without it, core activities become difficult. With our patients we develop that trust by being 100% transparent throughout your whole journey, and ensure that you understand every step that is being taken, and with your trust we are able to seek and treat the root cause, not just the active symptoms.
